Data fiduciary
Gaurav Partap Singh Minhas, sole proprietor, trading as AstroPalmLive, determines how your personal data is processed and is the data fiduciary (the company responsible for your data) under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You are the data principal (you, the person the data is about). Our address is B-20, First Floor, RPS Palms, Sector 88, Faridabad, Haryana, 121002, India.
Data we collect
An image of your palm, captured live on your camera. Images from a gallery are not accepted, so we hold only an image taken at the moment of the reading.
Your birth details, where you provide them: name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and sex. These are used to compute your chart.
Basic technical information such as device type and approximate region, used to operate the service and to detect abuse. Card and UPI details are handled by the payment processor and are never seen or stored by us.
Purpose and legal basis
Your chart is computed exactly, then written for you by AI following classical Jyotish (Vedic astrology) and palmistry rules. No human sees your hand.
Your data is processed for one purpose: to produce your reading. It is not used to build an advertising profile, or for any purpose you did not request.
Our generation provider's commercial terms state that, by default, it does not train its models on data sent through its interface. We do not opt in to the one exception, submitting your data back to it as feedback.
Processing is based on your consent, given before the reading begins. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Your choice for your image
Before your reading begins you are asked to choose one of the following, and the reading does not proceed until you have.
Delete on close: your image and birth details are erased when you close the session. Nothing is retained, and the reading cannot be retrieved later.
Keep encrypted: your image and birth details are stored encrypted so that you may return to your reading. You may delete them at any time and we act on that request.
There is no third option and no silent retention. If no choice is made, nothing is retained.
Recipients
Two recipients process data on our behalf under contract: the AI provider that writes your reading, and the payment processor if you pay. Each may use the data only to deliver the service to you. Your image is never published, sold, or shared for marketing, and is not visible to any other customer.
We disclose data where the law requires it, and inform you unless legally prevented from doing so.
Retention
If you chose delete on close, until the session closes. If you chose keep encrypted, until you delete it or ask us to. Personal data is erased once the purpose for which it was collected is complete or consent is withdrawn, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed. You may request correction, completion, or erasure. You may withdraw consent as easily as it was given.
You may nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
You may raise a grievance with us. Write to support@astropalmlive.com. First response within 24 working hours. Resolution within one month, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require.

Rule 9 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules requires us to publish the contact details of a person able to answer questions about the processing of your data. That person is named here.

Children
The service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and delete such data on discovery. If you believe a minor has used the service, write to support@astropalmlive.com.
Security
Stored images and birth details are encrypted, access is restricted to what is required to operate the service, and records of consent are kept. No system is perfect. If a breach affects your data we notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Changes
Changes to this policy are reflected in the date at the top of this page. Where a change is significant and we hold your data, we inform you directly.
